It's a partnership role, working alongside Brendan and Aaron to help MSP owners build businesses that actually work for them, not just because of them.

Finding alignment isn't always about a sudden leap; sometimes, it’s just the natural next step in a very long walk.

For over 30 years, I’ve been immersed in the MSP community. I’ve seen the highs, the burnout, and that familiar trap where a business owner becomes the "everything person." My mission has always been simple: helping leaders build businesses that work for them, rather than just because of them.

Today, that mission takes a new shape. I’m thrilled to share that I’ve joined the team at Morphability as their Governor of Growth.

A Connection Years in the Making

If that title sounds a bit different, it’s because this isn't a typical corporate hire. It’s a partnership rooted in a story that started a few years back.

I was in the middle of coaching a CEO in Adelaide when I got a call out of the blue from Brendan. He described the vision he and Aaron were building. While I didn't have the capacity to jump in then, I knew the fit was special. I actually suggested someone who would be perfect for their team—my son, Oscar.

Watching Oscar thrive with them over the last couple of years gave me a front-row seat to their culture. Eventually, Morphability and I started "trading secrets." They helped us sharpen our marketing strategy; we helped them find their footing with EOS implementation.

When Values Just Click

The "aha" moment happened during an annual planning session. As we looked at our goals, it became staringly obvious: we were moving in the same direction.

We share the same core values, we serve the same brilliant MSP community, and we’re solving two sides of the same coin. I’ve spent my career focused on leadership, operations, and the "quiet" strength of a business that runs itself. Morphability has mastered the art of sales process, high-performing teams, and delivery.

Most MSP owners don't just need one or the other. They need the bridge between the two.

Governing Growth, Together

Stepping into this role feels less like a "big leap" and more like home. My focus remains the same: helping you get what you actually want out of your business, but now I have a powerhouse team at my back to help make that happen faster and more effectively.

I’m genuinely excited to see where this path leads and how many more of you we can help find that elusive balance between a thriving business and a life well-lived.

There is plenty more to come. For now, I’m just enjoying the view from this new seat.
